Der Grosse König

The handbill glued to the centre of the poster reads:

The Gaufilmstelle organisation's use of film posters changed over time. Instead of using a brand new stand-alone individual film poster which would be thrown away after a film's run, a poster sheet with the Gau's header was printed en masse, and then an A4 sized handbill with the specific film tile and a short blurb was affixed with glue and put on display. Once the film ended, the poster sheet had the next film's handbill attached. This saved money and postage, according to Gaufilmstelle publications explaining this new scheme in 1937.
